Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate Home Care Aides to provide essential assistance and support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Care Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients.Duties:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Help with mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation
- Document care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor
Requirements:
- Knowledge of resident rights and ability to uphold them
- Experience or training in hospice care is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively with nurses and healthcare professionals
- Proficiency in first aid techniques
- Capacity to perform light cleaning duties and assist with heavy lifting when necessary
- Familiarity with assisted living environments and protocols
