Job Description
TheKey is seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide premium in-home support for older adults. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming), safe mobility and transfers, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and meaningful companionship. You'll observe and report changes in client condition, follow individualized care plans, and collaborate with families and care teams. Responsibilities Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance Support safe mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed, following dietary preferences Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean home environment Offer companionship, conversation, and engagement in daily activities Provide medication reminders according to the care plan (non-clinical) Observe, document, and report changes in client condition to supervisors or families Follow individualized care plans and company policies and procedures Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, families, and care teams Participate in ongoing training and adhere to safety and infection control standards Required Skills Personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) Safe client transfers and mobility support Meal preparation and basic nutrition knowledge Housekeeping and home safety awareness Medication reminders (non-clinical) Observation and documentation of client status Dementia and Alzheimer's care techniques Infection control and hygiene practices Communication with families and care teams Time management and reliability for in-home visits
