Our six-resident Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) provides personalized, respectful, and loving care in a warm, home-like environment. Caregivers will support residents with daily living activities while promoting their dignity, independence, safety, comfort, and quality of life. We are hiring full-time and part-time team members for day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts. Duties and Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene. Assist with walking, repositioning, transferring, and other mobility needs using approved safety procedures. Provide medication assistance and reminders according to physician instructions, and RCFE regulations. Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks while following residents' dietary needs and restrictions. Observe residents for changes in their physical condition, behavior, mood, appetite, or mobility and promptly report concerns to the administrator. Maintain accurate daily care notes, medication records, incident reports, and other required documentation. Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful social engagement. Assist residents with planned activities and encourage participation based on their interests and abilities. Perform housekeeping, laundry, linen changes, dishwashing, and routine cleaning to maintain a safe and comfortable home. Respond calmly and appropriately to emergencies and follow facility safety procedures. Protect residents' privacy, confidentiality, personal rights, and dignity. Communicate respectfully with residents, families, coworkers, healthcare professionals, and facility leadership. Follow infection-control practices, emergency procedures, and all applicable RCFE policies. Complete required training and participate in staff meetings. Provide reliable shift coverage, including assigned weekends and holidays. Perform other resident-care duties appropriate to the caregiver position and permitted under California RCFE regulations. This is an in-person position located in Riverside, CA 92507. Qualifications First aid certification and ability to respond to emergencies Experience in long-term, home, and community care with seniors or individuals with developmental or cognitive disabilities Proficiency in personal care, ADLs assistance, bathing, grooming, and light housekeeping Patient transfer, manual handling, and safe mobility techniques; ability to operate a standard passenger car Compassionate, patient-centered care with strong communication and collaboration with healthcare professionals Basic meal preparation, cleaning, and memory/dementia care support Prior experience in residential or group home settings is a plus

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
