6-Bed Residential Carehome for the Elderly - Full Time and On Call Positions Open Carehomes of Placer Roseville, CA Job Details Full-time $17 - $25 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Assisting with ADLs Meal preparation Bathing assistance Meal assistance Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated person to join our team in providing exceptional care to residents in our 6 Bed Residential Carehome Facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents through direct support and assistance with daily living activities. This role requires a nurturing attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Shift/ Schedule We are looking for an on-call, part time, and full time candidates. Our full time team works (4) 10-hour shifts per week with 3 days off. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Assist with meal preparation and ensure residents receive proper nutrition according to their dietary needs. Individuals with food service backgrounds ie: cooks, are welcomed to apply. Maintaining the home and sanitary conditions. Inviduals with housecleaning backgrounds are welcomed to apply. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents for any changes in health or behavior. Offer companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation. Support residents with dementia care, utilizing appropriate techniques to ensure their comfort and safety. Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding any concerns or changes in resident conditions. Experience Previous experience in caregiving is preferred but not required. A compassionate demeanor with a strong desire to assist others in maintaining their independence and dignity.
