Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and reporting any changes to the healthcare team. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, promoting social interaction and engagement. Ensure that resident rights are upheld and respected at all times. Assist with mobility needs, including lifting or transferring residents safely when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to hygiene standards. Document care provided and any changes in resident condition accurately in care logs. Collaborate with nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving or home health is preferred. Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and vital signs assessment is advantageous. Familiarity with assisted living environments and resident rights is a plus.
