Qualifications:
Knowledge and aptitude in working with persons suffering from Alzheimer's Disease and other related disorders Sensitivity toward impaired elderly and caregivers Ability to work closely with others and take Initiative/responsibility Demonstrates a warm and caring attitude towards others Working conditions are normal for an Adult Daycare environment Must be ok with cleaning up after people
Responsibilities:
Ensure participants safety and security of the participants' and respond appropriately to emergencies. Assists with all aspects but not limited to the program, welcoming participants quick and efficiently. Assisting them with getting into and out of transport carefully, other ancillary departments, table organizing. Assists participants with program activities, including, but not limited to, food and beverage and food serving, clean up tables, transferring or walking to and from bathroom. Assisting if needed accurate and complete record keeping and with office filing for all departments Actively participate in the multidisciplinary team, and advocate on behalf of participants and their families. Establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with participants, nurses and staff. Must be bilingual (English and Spanish) •Required• Basic computer skills. Program Aide is available during all hours of operation.

Part-time Monday-Friday 8:00-2:00 PM •Weekend availability as back up•
Pay:
$18.00-$19.00 per hour
