CAREGIVER JOB DESCRIPTION
Personal care, transferring, ambulation, meal preparation, companionship, medication reminders and light housekeeping Follow client care plan and provide updates as needed Use special equipment and supplies as instructed and allowed by applicable guidelines or regulations. (e.g. special beds or mattresses; walkers, wheelchairs, or other support devices; braces; oxygen machines; etc.) Understand and make use of basic principles of good nutrition. Change soiled bed linens. This may include while a client is in the bed. Do not make beds for individuals who are not a client or in guest rooms. Ensure that clients are in an upright position for meals, encourage self-feeding, assist client eating or feeding, as needed. Assist client in arranging & scheduling medical, dental, or social appointments. Provide Transportation, if needed. Provide mental stimulation and engagement, social interaction, and reassurance to the client and family.POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Registered Home Care Aide (HCA)
- if not registered, we'll help you through the process and reimburse you for your live scan form once you complete the set hours in the given timeframe
- At least 6 months experience (Can be with family members, Facility, Homecare)
- TB test completed (we can help with that)
