Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hindi Speaking Caregiver to join our team, committed to providing exceptional care and support to individuals in need. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive personal care assistance, including help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques. Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) like eating, toileting, and medication management while ensuring adherence to care plans and resident's rights. Monitor vital signs, observe patient conditions closely, and report any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption to promote health and comfort. Support patients with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's disease or dementia by implementing specialized techniques in dementia and neurodevelopmental disorders care. Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and proper infection control practices aligned with HIPAA regulations. Facilitate transportation for appointments or community activities using appropriate patient transfer methods and personal transportation assistance. Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of patient monitoring, medication administration, first aid, CPR certification, and hospice or palliative care practices. Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities support needs, or neurodevelopmental disorders is advantageous. Familiarity with care plans development and implementation for residents with dementia or memory impairments is desirable. Proven ability to handle heavy lifting safely while assisting with transfers or mobility support. Strong communication skills in Hindi are essential; fluency in additional languages is a plus.
