  • $21 an hour 7 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Teamwork BLS Certification First Aid Certification Patient interaction Bathing assistance First aid and CPR Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team for the full-time morning shift from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in assisted living, long-term care, and home & community care environments. This role requires a proactive individual committed to providing exceptional personal and medical support to residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity. The Caregiver will play a vital role in fostering a respectful and nurturing atmosphere while adhering to all safety protocols and resident rights. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure residents' health status is maintained. Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care, implementing personalized care plans. Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and social interaction, respecting individual preferences. Practice safe patient lifting techniques and manual handling procedures to prevent injury for both residents and staff. Maintain cleanliness of resident living spaces and common areas through routine cleaning tasks in accordance with health standards. Qualifications Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly desirable. Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and memory care best practices. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid is required; additional training in medication administration is preferred. Demonstrated ability to assist with ADLs and provide compassionate personal care to diverse populations. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is advantageous. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork within multidisciplinary environments. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist residents with mobility needs safely.
