Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide high-quality support to children and individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education, caregiving, and behavior management, with a genuine passion for nurturing growth and independence. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for delivering personalized care, planning engaging activities, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment that promotes development and well-being. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for children across various age groups, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, socialization, and physical development. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including administering first aid and CPR when necessary. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to report on progress, concerns, or important updates regarding the child's well-being. Support childhood development through teaching basic skills, behavior management strategies, and fostering positive interactions. Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering (for infants and toddlers), and nap times in accordance with individual needs. Maintain a clean and organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards while encouraging engaging play experiences. Experience Candidates should demonstrate prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities in settings such as daycare centers, babysitting roles, nannying, or youth programs. Experience in early childhood education or preschool environments is highly valued. Familiarity with childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, mandated reporting laws, and first aid/CPR certification is essential. Prior roles involving activity planning for children or caregiving responsibilities that support developmental milestones will strengthen your application. A background in teaching young children or working within daycare settings provides a solid foundation for success in this role.
