Assists elders with their daily living activities. Provide personal care and companionship.Job Description:
- Administer bedside and personal care, such as ambulation and personal hygiene assistance.
- Help patients with daily tasks such as personal grooming and meal preparation.
- Prepare and maintain records of client progress and services performed, reporting changes in client condition to the Client Care Manager / Staffing Department.
- Perform housekeeping duties, such as meal preparation, cleaning, laundry and running errands.
- Accompany Client to appointments or errands
- Instruct and advise Clients on issues such as household cleanliness, utilities, hygiene and nutrition. Job Qualifications
- Valid CPR / First-Aid Certification
- Current TB Test
- Live Scan - Fingerprint Clearance
- Must have 5 hours training or more on Basic Health and Safety Training, Emergency Procedures, Liabilities of Caregiving
- Highly professional with a friendly and cheerful personality
- Excellent human relations, reliable and responsible
- Excellent communication skills
- Registered to perform home care services in the State of California (Registered Home Care Aide) Work Experience
- Preferably one year experience in a home, facility or assisted living. Education
