This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in individuals' lives by assisting with daily activities, health monitoring, and personal care. The caregiver will work specifically on Monday and Tuesday from 9 am to 1 pm, delivering attentive, respectful, and professional assistance tailored to each client's needs. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns promptly Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary requirements and assist with meal consumption as needed Support patients with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA privacy standards Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization tasks Utilize patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques to ensure safe mobility Document care activities accurately in compliance with home health and hospice care protocols Qualifications Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or in senior care environments preferred Knowledge of patient observation, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and emergency response procedures including CPR and first aid Familiarity with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and assisted living settings is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely while adhering to safety standards Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus Valid certifications in first aid, CPR, or nursing are advantageous but not mandatory Join our team to provide compassionate support that enhances quality of life!
