Job Description
Join our team as a carepartner. Our carepartners provide direct care to dementia residents, recognize individual needs, encourage independence and treat each senior with respect and dignity. You will nurture in a home-like setting and assist our seniors with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming and other personal care needs. Part-time shift available. 34 hours and 24 hours/week. Must be able to work weekends and some holidays. Opportunity to pick up open shifts. Criminal Background Check Required Must be enthusiastic, empathtic, caring, compassionate, a team player and able to communicate effectively with elderly and those living with Alzheimer's disease or other types of dementia. We will provide excellent training if you have these qualities. Friendship House has been providing care for over 40 years in the SYV.
