A Caregiver or Personal Care Aide provides non-medical care for adults, including elderly and disabled people, typically in their own homes. Assists clients with daily tasks including bathing, medication reminders, and light housekeeping; may also provide transportation for appointments and errands. These roles do not always require formal certification.

Role Overview:
As a Caregiver at Home Helpers of Modesto, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate and personalized care to our clients in their homes. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our nursing team to ensure that our clients maintain their independence, comfort, and peace of mind. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those you serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care and meal preparation. Provide companionship to enhance clients' emotional well-being. Transport clients to appointments and activities, ensuring safe travel. Support clients with dementia care and respite services as needed. Communicate effectively with team members and families to provide reassurance and updates on clients' condition and needs.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills. A genuine passion for helping others and providing compassionate care. Good communication skills, with the ability to interact empathetically with clients and their families. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting and mobility support. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
Bonus If You:
Have previous experience in home care or a related field. Hold relevant certifications in caregiving or first aid. Are bilingual, particularly in languages in addition to English.
Employment Type & Availability:
This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with required availability from Monday through Sunday.

This position is on-site only, located in Stockton, California.
