Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated
CAREGIVERS
/ Home Care Aides to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their homes and community settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients through personalized care, attentive observation, and respectful companionship. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized memory or dementia care. Candidates with experience in assisted living, nursing homes, group homes, or hospice care are encouraged to apply. All positions are paid roles committed to delivering high-quality, person-centered care.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates to ensure patient safety. Support medication administration and adherence to care plans while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and social engagement. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking. Conduct light cleaning duties within the client's residence to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. Utilize proper techniques such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices for safe patient transfer and mobility assistance. Observe and report changes in client condition or behavior promptly to healthcare professionals or family members. Support clients with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, autism spectrum disorder, or developmental disabilities through targeted care strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of care activities, patient observations, and medication administration in compliance with healthcare standards.
Experience:
Prior experience working in home health, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly desirable. Familiarity with patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs accurately. Hands-on experience providing Alzheimer's care, dementia care, or memory support services. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality. Experience assisting individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges using appropriate support methods. Proficiency in performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and meal preparation within a caregiving context. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred; ongoing training in hospice care or long-term care is advantageous. Ability to lift heavy objects safely when required for patient transfers or mobility assistance.
Pay:
$19.50 - $22.00 per hour
