Job Description
The Art of ABA is a small, BCBA-owned practice seeking a part-time Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician to provide individualized, in-home services in Vista. You'll begin with one consistent client and schedule, with opportunities to add nearby clients and increase your hours if desired and available. Unlike working for a large agency, you'll work directly with the owner and supervising BCBA. You'll receive personalized, hands-on training, ongoing feedback, and support when you need it. Our approach is compassionate, relationship-focused, and prioritizes regulation over compliance.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one, in-home behavioral support Build a warm, trusting relationship with the child Implement individualized goals through play, everyday routines, and structured learning Support communication, emotional regulation, independence, and meaningful life skills Collect accurate data and complete session documentation Communicate professionally with the family and supervising BCBA Participate in training and ongoing supervision We're looking for someone who is: Warm, patient, and genuinely enjoys working with children Dependable and able to maintain a consistent weekly schedule Open to feedback and interested in developing strong clinical skills Professional and respectful while working in a family's home Comfortable working independently while maintaining regular communication with theBCBA RBT
certification is preferred but not required. Candidates with relevant experience working with children and a genuine interest in learning a more compassionate, holistic approach to ABA are encouraged to apply. Applicants must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and auto insurance, and be able to complete required background screening and CPR certification.Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 15.0 per weekBenefits:
