Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in home health, senior care, or community care, with a genuine commitment to enhancing clients' quality of life. As an In Home Caregiver, you will deliver personalized care, promote independence, and ensure safety while fostering a respectful and trusting relationship with clients. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, medication adherence, and overall well-being. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking. Support clients with medication administration following prescribed care plans and HIPAA compliance standards. Provide transportation assistance for appointments, errands, or community outings to promote social engagement. Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping, cleaning, and manual handling tasks. Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare teams regarding patient progress or concerns. Requirements Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer's and memory care), and neurodevelopmental disorders. Familiarity with care equipment such as Hoyer lifts, patient transfer methods, and vital signs monitoring tools. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in hospice care or autism support is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and execute manual handling procedures in accordance with safety standards. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation of care activities. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays is highly desirable.
