Caregiver

Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role is pivotal in enhancing the quality of life for clients, particularly those with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to caregiving and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, cooking, room organization, house cleaning.... etc. Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities and autism, fostering independence and personal growth. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring hygiene standards are met. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans tailored to individual client needs. Requirements Previous experience in home care or caregiving preferred but not required. Fingerprint clearance is required. Negative TB clearance or chest X-ray. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in caregiving. Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving duties, including lifting or transferring clients as needed. First Aid & CPR Certified. Obtain a valid driver's license.
