Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Evening QMAP/Caregiver to join our team and provide exceptional care to residents during evening hours. This role is vital in supporting individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, those with developmental disabilities, and individuals requiring specialized memory or hospice care. As an Evening QMAP/Caregiver, you will play a key role in enhancing residents' quality of life through attentive, respectful, and personalized care. Duties Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support while maintaining dignity and independence. Administer medications accurately following established protocols, including medication administration. Monitor vital signs and observe residents' physical and emotional well-being, documenting changes in medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records). Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, implementing memory care strategies to promote safety and comfort. Support residents during meal times, assisting with feeding when necessary and ensuring proper nutrition intake. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to HIPAA regulations, infection control protocols, and safety procedures. Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care plans are followed accurately. Document all care activities thoroughly in medical documentation systems, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards. Respond promptly to resident needs during evening shifts, providing emotional support and companionship to foster a warm community atmosphere. Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care settings is highly preferred. Experience with vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and providing ADLs Previous caregiving experience working with individuals with dementia enhances your ability to deliver personalized care. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensures confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive medical information.
