Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and bilingual Personal Care Supervisor who is a responsible driver with a valid driver's license to oversee and coordinate personal care services within our community. This role involves supervising direct care staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and providing exceptional support to clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive caregiving experience, and fluency in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with diverse clients and team members. Duties Supervise and support personal care aides, ensuring high-quality client service delivery in accordance with company policies and state regulations. Coordinate schedules, assign tasks, and monitor staff performance to maintain efficient operations. Conduct client assessments to develop personalized care plans that meet individual needs, including dementia care, senior care, or disability support. Ensure compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), state healthcare regulations, and nursing policies. Provide training and mentorship to staff on proper caregiving techniques, medical documentation, infection control, and emergency procedures. Maintain accurate medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as eClinicalWorks or Athenahealth. Willing to driving all over Denver Metro. Skills Fluency in both English and Spanish for effective communication with clients and team members. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving in various conditions preferred. Strong leadership skills with supervising experience in healthcare or home care settings. Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems for documentation and case management purposes. Familiarity with healthcare regulations including HIPAA, long-term care regulations, and Medicaid waiver requirements. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or seniors requiring memory or dementia care. Proficiency in medical terminology, vital signs assessment, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS). Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Excellent managerial communication skills to foster teamwork and ensure compliance with nursing policies.
