Job Description

Almost Family CO, LLC is seeking compassionate, reliable Caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care to seniors and individuals needing assistance in the mountain communities of Estes Park and Drake . In this role, you will help clients maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their homes by assisting with personal care, daily household tasks, and companionship.
Key Responsibilities Personal Care:
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility/transfer assistance (using gait belts or Hoyer lifts as needed).
Companionship:
Engage clients in conversation, light hobbies, reading, and meaningful social interaction to prevent isolation.
Homemaking & Meals:
Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishwashing, sweeping) and prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary preferences.
Medication Reminders:
Provide timely reminders for clients to take prescribed medications.
Transportation & Errands:
Assist with local grocery shopping, running errands, and accompanying clients to medical appointments.
Client Safety:
Monitor client well-being, maintain a safe living environment, and report any changes in physical or mental condition.
Qualifications & Requirements Driver's License & Vehicle:
Must hold a valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and active auto insurance suitable for mountain driving in Estes Park/Drake.
Background Check:
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Skills:
Strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for serving seniors. Certifications (Preferred, not required): CNA, HHA, PCA, or First Aid/CPR certifications are a plus. Prior caregiving or dementia care experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs and assist clients with transfers safely.
