In-home care (private residence)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and respectful caregiver to provide in-home support for an individual that receives IHSS. This role requires someone who understands and honors client autonomy, while providing assistance in a supportive manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed (showering, personal care, etc) Provide general supervision and companionship Support daily routines while respecting the client's independence and decision-making Follow established care plans as directed by the existing care team Maintain a safe and clean environment Shopping, light housekeeping, meal prep, cooking meals, etc

Important Expectations:

Caregivers are expected to respect autonomy and avoid imposing personal opinions or expectations

Follow IHSS Care Plan Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience as a caregiver, CNA, or home health aide Ability to maintain professional boundaries Strong interpersonal skills and respect for client independence Reliable, patient, and adaptable

Schedule:

Monday -

Friday:

9am- 5pm

Ideal Candidate:

Someone who can provide support while fully respecting the client's autonomy, understands their role within a broader care team, and maintains appropriate professional boundaries at all times.
