Ability Advocates provides services to adults with disabilities, connecting them with the community through fun daily activities and supporting them with in home care to increase their independence.

Responsibilities include:

providing transportation, direct supervision, behavior intervention, writing daily notes, providing person specific and trauma informed care, attending meetings & trainings Must be comfortable with direct care services which can include assisting with toileting, feeding, changing, mobility assistance, and assistance with ADLs, and IADLs Background check, clean DMV record, CPR/First Aid, reliable transportation & car insurance required. 1+ Year working in Special Education or with the Developmental Disabilities population preferred.
