With nearly seven years of service, we pride ourselves on fostering a positive work environment built on respect, kindness, and appreciation for our dedicated care staff. We are seeking an experienced Overnight Caregiver to join our team and deliver exceptional care during nighttime hours. This vital role involves supporting clients with their daily needs, ensuring their safety, and providing peace of mind for their families. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in patient care, dementia and memory care, and possess the skills necessary to handle various responsibilities with compassion and professionalism. Monitor residents' health and safety throughout overnight shifts, including vital signs and patient observation Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Administer medications accurately following care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations Respond promptly to residents' needs, including assisting with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's Prepare nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary restrictions and preferences Conduct regular safety checks of the environment, including cleaning and maintaining a safe living space Document all observations, interventions, and incidents thoroughly in compliance with healthcare standards Support residents with Alzheimer's, dementia, autism, or other developmental disabilities through specialized memory care techniques Collaborate with nursing staff or social workers to update care plans as needed Maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA standards at all times Proven experience as a caregiver in assisted living, nursing home, home health, or hospice settings Strong knowledge of patient monitoring, vital signs, medication administration, and emergency procedures such as CPR and first aid Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or memory impairments like Alzheimer's or dementia Ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist residents with mobility using appropriate equipment Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and confidentiality Excellent observational skills for patient safety and condition monitoring CNA experience is helpful Prior experience working in group homes or long-term care environments preferred Compassionate attitude combined with excellent communication skills to foster trust and comfort Join us at A Little R&R Home Care where your dedication makes a meaningful difference!
