Job Overview The Direct Support Provider is a flexible, cross-trained role that provides support across our Mentorship, Supported Community Connections Programming, and Social Events. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about neurodiversity, skilled in building relationships, and excited to make a meaningful difference in the daily lives and long-term goals of neurodivergent adults. Responsibilities Mentorship Support Mentors are peers who advise, model, provide experience, and support participation and communication. Teaching methods may include instructing, providing experiences, modeling and advising. This service includes 1:1 assistance with participation on private and public boards, advisory groups and/or commissions. This service does not duplicate case management or waiver services such as Supported Community Connections. Life Skills & Community-Based Support Provide direct support to increase clients' independence in the community, both in group and individual settings. Model professional boundaries, emotional regulation, and strengths-based support. Make independent decisions in the community to ensure safety and alignment with organizational values. Assist with physical aspects of the role (bending, walking, lifting, etc.) based on client needs. Drive clients in a 12-passenger van and/or personal vehicle when appropriate (following safety inspection). Communicate proactively with supervisors, teammates, clients, families, and community partners. Report any changes in a client's condition, needs, or family situation to the team promptly. Complete daily documentation across service categories by the end of the week in which services were provided. Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong relationship-building and customer-service mindset. Experience in training, coaching, or skills development. Passion for inclusion and working with neurodivergent individuals. Ability to work both collaboratively and independently. Experience in the field of neurodiversity, disability services, or a related area. Ability to support clients in community-based environments and engage in moderate physical activity. Valid driver's license; comfort driving a 12-passenger van. Ability to commit to the organization for at least one year.

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
