Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to enhance their quality of life. Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive and engaging environment for clients. Administer medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans under supervision. Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe, clean living space. Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members promptly. Support clients with mobility and transfer assistance using proper techniques to ensure safety. Maintain detailed documentation of care provided and any incidents or observations during visits. Requirements Prior experience in healthcare settings such as Level II trauma centers, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or similar environments is highly valued. Knowledge of geriatrics, medical-surgical care, post-acute care, outpatient clinics, and sub-acute care settings is preferred. Experience working with diverse populations including elderly patients or those in inpatient or outpatient environments enhances your effectiveness. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed care plans are essential. Certification in CPR and first aid is preferred; willingness to obtain relevant certifications if not already held. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful and dignified care.
