Job Description
Join a respected and growing organization dedicated to supporting adults with physical and intellectual disabilities in a residential group home setting. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping participants achieve their highest level of independence. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play an essential part in daily rehabilitation efforts, assisting individuals with essential life skills such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping, budgeting, and other activities that promote independent living. You will also help plan and implement both in‑home and community‑based activities tailored to each participant's needs and goals. Through consistent support, encouragement, and documentation of progress, you will contribute to a safe, engaging, and empowering environment where participants can thrive. PRN and full‑time positions are currently available.

Essential Job Functions:
Ensure the overall care, safety, and well‑being of participants. Accurately complete documentation within an electronic database. Administer medications in accordance with QMAP standards (training provided if not already certified). Assist participants with daily living skills, including cooking, housekeeping, laundry, grooming, and related tasks. Support and coordinate participant activities, both in the home and in the community. Maintain a professional, positive, and supportive attitude. Demonstrate the ability to remain calm and effective in challenging situations.Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is required.
- State of Colorado Qualified Medication Administration Person (QMAP) certification is preferred, but if not held Company will pay for QMAP Training and certification depending on shift and duties.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older. Applicants under 18 will not be considered.
- Must possess basic cooking skills/knowledge.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is preferred, but if not held Company will pay for training and certification.
- Must have written and computer skills. Experience with charting on Electronic Health Record is preferred.
- Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and criminal background check.
Pay:
Competitive hourly rate: $18.00 - $20.00, based on experiance, education, and related qualifications.Supervises:
No direct reports with posted position, although Company provides opportunities for advancement to other positions.FLSA Status:
