The ideal candidate will have experience in memory care and working with individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. As a Caregiver, you will assist clients with daily living activities, promote their independence, and enhance their overall quality of life. Responsibilities Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist clients with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary guidelines and client preferences. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals. Support clients with memory care activities to enhance cognitive function. Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental well-being. Monitor and document client progress and report any changes to the nursing staff or family members. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. Skills Experience in home health settings is preferred, but not required, as we provide hands on training. Strong understanding of and ability to accurately follow a Care Plan. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Ability to perform lifting (up to 25 pounds) as required by client needs. Familiarity with memory care techniques and strategies for working with individuals with Developmental Disabilities, Alzheimer's, and Dementia. Ability to pass all required background checks, including MVR, with reliable transportation as clients often require errands such as shopping/laundry.
