Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated QMAP/Caregiver to join our team, providing essential support and personalized care to residents in senior living and healthcare facilities. Responsibilities Assist residents with personal care needs including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support in accordance with care plans. Administer medications following proper protocols, including medication reminders and documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates; report any abnormalities promptly. Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Follow safety procedures during manual handling and heavy lifting to prevent injury; assist with transfers using proper techniques. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care and address individual needs. Experience Prior assisted living or senior care experience preferred; experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is highly valued. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and basic nursing practices such as catheter care and tube feeding. Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like PointClickCare is advantageous. Certification in CPR and First Aid is optional; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) are a plus. Experience working within state healthcare regulations and maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards is essential. Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual handling tasks effectively. $19.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 - 36.0 per week
