As a HomeCare Caregiver, you will deliver essential assistance that promotes independence, safety, and well-being, ensuring each client receives the highest quality of care in a respectful and nurturing environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient observation to identify changes in health status or behavior promptly Administer medication and perform medical tasks such as vital signs measurement, catheter care, and basic wound management in accordance with medical plans Support clients with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and transportation to appointments or community activities Maintain accurate medical documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems while respecting patient confidentiality under HIPAA regulations Implement patient transfer methods safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices Provide companionship and emotional support to clients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or those receiving hospice or end-of-life care Requirements Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, geriatrics, or in assisted living environments Knowledge of home healthcare regulations and medical terminology relevant to home health services Certification in First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS), including CPR training Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient care activities Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred for client mobility support Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve clients' quality of life through dedicated caregiving Join us today and become part of a team committed to delivering exceptional home health care that empowers clients to live comfortably and confidently at home.
