Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home care and support for individuals with diverse needs. This vital role involves delivering personalized assistance that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As a Live-In Caregiver, you will be a trusted companion and caregiver, ensuring that residents receive attentive, respectful, and professional care in a comfortable home environment. Your energy and commitment will help create a positive atmosphere where clients feel valued and supported every day. Provide comprehensive care to residents, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor residents' health by observing vital signs, managing medication administration, and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences, ensuring food safety and cleanliness standards are maintained Assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment Support residents with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease through memory care techniques and engagement activities Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to ensure safe transfers and prevent injury during mobility assistance Follow care plans meticulously while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, or long-term care environments Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and emergency response procedures such as CPR and first aid Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or hospice needs is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts Excellent communication skills for working effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams Valid certifications in CPR, first aid, and HIPAA compliance preferred Prior experience in group homes or nursing homes is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Join us as a Live-In Caregiver if you're passionate about making a meaningful difference in people's lives through dedicated caregiving.
