This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized care such as dementia, Alzheimer's, or neurodevelopmental support. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and a proactive attitude to assist with daily activities, and personal needs while fostering independence and dignity. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using appropriate patient transfer methods and manual handling techniques. Monitor patients' vital signs and observe for any changes in health status, reporting findings accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with meal planning and preparation. Reminder medications safely following care plans Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining infection control standards. Document all care activities thoroughly in accordance with agency policies and ensure client is respected at all times. Skills Strong patient observation skills with the ability to recognize signs of distress or changes in condition. Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental or intellectual disabilities. Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams while respecting client's rights.
