A Caregiver or Personal Care Aide provides non-medical care for adults, including elderly and disabled people, typically in their own homes. Assists clients with daily tasks including bathing, medication reminders, and light housekeeping; may also provide transportation for appointments and errands. These roles do not always require formal certification.

Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Support mobility needs, including safe transfers and ambulation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Assist with meals, feeding, and light housekeeping. Monitor, observe, and promptly report any changes in client's condition. Follow individualized care plans and document services accurately. Adhere to all safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications:
Current Connecticut HHA certification or CNA license (required). Previous experience in home care or healthcare setting preferred. Compassionate, dependable, and patient with strong communication skills. Ability to lift, move, or transfer clients when needed. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
