Job Description
Job Overview We are currently seeking a Live-In Caregiver to join our caring and committed team. As a live-in caregiver, you will reside in the client's home and provide personalized care and support with daily living activities, companionship, and safety monitoring. Responsibilities Provide direct support and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and safety. Ability to live on-site 7 days per week Assist with meal preparation, cooking nutritious meals, and adhering to dietary restrictions. Monitor patients' health by observing changes in condition and reporting any concerns. Help clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Lift and transfer clients safely while maintaining their dignity. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship. Document care provided and any changes in the client's condition as required. Skills Experience working with people with disabilities is highly desirable. Knowledge of first aid procedures to respond effectively in emergencies. Proficient in meal preparation and cooking skills tailored to individual dietary needs. Ability to lift clients safely and assist them with mobility challenges. Strong patient monitoring skills to assess health status accurately. Compassionate approach to patient care, ensuring emotional support is provided. Familiarity with long-term care practices and principles of direct support. Experience working in a group home setting is a plus. Experience working dementia clients.
