Fernwood Rest Home is a long term, non-medical, residential care home for independent adults.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide care, companionship, and support to residents in a residential setting
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times by monitoring residents and enforcing facility rules
  • Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
  • Assist kitchen staff with meal distribution as needed
  • Promote resident rights and independence
  • Monitor residents and report any changes/abnormalities to Med Tech on duty
Requirements:
  • Experience working with elderly/disabled/special needs adults is a PLUS
  • Provide compassionate care to all residents and maintain a positive attitude
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with a team
  • High School Diploma
  • Authorized to work in the
