Job Description

OurCare of Connecticut is hiring Homemakers and Companions in New Milford CT. OurCare is a registered Homemaker Companion Agency in Connecticut dedicated to helping seniors and individuals with disabilities live independently and comfortably in their own homes. Our compassionate caregivers provide non-medical support, companionship, and household assistance to improve quality of life and bring peace of mind to families. The Homemaker/Companion plays a vital role in enhancing wellbeing for individuals in need of support within their homes. This position involves providing companionship, assistance with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in a caregiving or companion role Reliable, trustworthy and compassionate
Job Responsibilities:
As a Homemaker/Companion, you will provide non-medical services such as: Offering companionship, conversation, and emotional support Assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, cleaning) Running errands, grocery shopping, and accompanying clients to appointments or social activities Monitoring client's safety and reporting any concerns to agency and/or family Encourage client independence while providing supportive presence We offer: Competitive salary - $18 per hour or higher Weekly Pay Holiday Pay Paid time off Direct Deposit available Flexible work Schedule - full-time and part-time available Health Coverage Benefits Employee Referral Bonus OurCare of Connecticut Registration #:
