Part-Time / Per Diem Caregiver

Summary:

Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is looking for experienced Caregivers in New Milford. We are currently hiring for a variety of roles for Caregivers that are looking to work Part-Time and Full-Time hours. Our cases take place during the morning, afternoons, evenings and overnight. Caregivers should ideally have 3 plus years of experience, reliable transportation and a willingness to take iniative each day. Primary Responsibilities:

Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding Responsible for house maintenance when applicable Answer phone calls for clients when necessary Converses with patients to provide assurance Observes Universal Precautions Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities and shopping Provides patient laundry and linen changes Light housekeeping Provides medication reminders Meal preparation and clean up

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Previous experience working as a Non-Medical Caregiver required Must be authorized to work in the United States High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation Exceptional interpersonal skills Must have Cell Phone / Tablet
