Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide personalized care and support to clients in their own homes. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, ensure safety, and promote well-being. This role requires patience, reliability, and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those in need of assistance. The In Home Caregiver will play a vital role in creating a comfortable and supportive environment for clients. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs. Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being. Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Administer medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals. Support clients with personal grooming needs, including tasks such as braiding hair when required. Monitor clients' health status and report any concerns or changes to family members or healthcare providers. Follow care plans and adhere to safety protocols to ensure client safety at all times. Requirements Prior experience in caregiving or related roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed. Must be able to braid the client's hair as part of personal grooming assistance. Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards clients of all ages and backgrounds. Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions. Ability to handle physical tasks such as assisting with mobility and transfers safely. Reliable transportation is preferred but not required; flexibility in scheduling is advantageous. Must pass background checks and any required health screenings.
