As a vital member of our caregiving team, you will foster a warm, engaging environment that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve by delivering attentive, respectful, and professional assistance tailored to each individual's needs. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, patience, and a genuine desire to enhance quality of life through compassionate support. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing any changes and overall condition; report changes promptly to healthcare professionals Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary plans and assist with meal consumption as needed Support residents with medication reminders while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations Facilitate engaging activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction, including memory care and dementia support Assist with patient transfers using manual handling techniques and ensure safety during movement Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through regular cleaning duties; uphold infection control standards in accordance with health guidelines Provide transportation assistance for appointments or outings, ensuring safe and timely arrival and departure Support families and residents by communicating effectively about care plans and daily routines Skills Proven experience working in homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques, and medication reminders Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care strategies, is a plus Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely using appropriate patient transfer methods (gait belt) and patient transfer techniques Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and our team effectively Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality and privacy of patient information Capable of assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting—supporting independence while maintaining dignity Ability to respond swiftly in emergency situations ; understanding hospice care principles is a plus Physical stamina for heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking; manual handling skills essential for safe patient transfers Join us in providing heartfelt companionship that transforms lives!
