Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to provide dedicated support and nurturing care to children and individuals with diverse needs. In this vital role, you will create a safe, engaging, and positive environment that promotes growth, development, and well-being. Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Plan and implement engaging activities that support childhood development, early learning, and social skills. Ensure safety by adhering to childhood development best practices, behavior management techniques, and mandated reporting laws when necessary. Administer basic first aid and CPR in emergency situations while maintaining calmness and professionalism. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, activities, and any concerns that arise. Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, dressing, and nap times for infants and toddlers. Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing personalized caregiving. Skills Experience working with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Strong activity planning skills tailored to children's interests and developmental stages. Proven ability to manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement techniques. Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional training in mandated reporting laws is preferred. Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration. Prior experience in daycare settings, babysitting, nannying, or youth program teaching roles is highly desirable.
