+ Provides assistance to assigned consumers including, but not limited to the following: + Assistance with activities of daily living + Assisting with ambulation, as applicable + Assistance with nutritional and dietary needs + Essential household duties + Provide for safe and sanitary consumer environment + Utilize basic infection control technique and procedures + Provide medication reminders as directed by the Service Authorization and/or Care Plan + Maintain consumer confidentiality + Encourage consumer control of and promote the independent living philosophy
Requirements:
+ Proficiency in the English language is required + Successful completion of the Direct Care Worker Competency orientation process required + Current CPR Card required + Current Health Screening (in accordance with state regulations) required + Successful completion of PASA competency evaluation which meets the requirements of the state is required
