Responsibilities Administer medications accurately and safely following established protocols and healthcare regulations Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor vital signs and observe residents for any changes in health status or behavior Maintain detailed medical documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and ensure compliance with HIPAA confidentiality standards Support residents during meal times, including tube feeding and other specialized nutritional needs Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, including dementia and memory care strategies Respond promptly to emergencies with first aid and CPR skills, ensuring resident safety at all times Skills Proven experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and senior care best practices Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Cerner or similar platforms Ability to perform manual handling tasks and heavy lifting safely while maintaining resident dignity Strong caregiving communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and residents' families Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia-related conditions Certification in first aid, CPR, and basic life support (BLS), with ongoing commitment to professional development Understanding of state healthcare regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines Embark on a fulfilling career where your compassion meets your expertise!
