The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of clients through attentive care and companionship. This role requires a strong sense of empathy, patience, and professionalism, along with the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. CPR certification is preferred or required to ensure preparedness for health emergencies. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life. Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to appropriate healthcare professionals. Administer medication reminders or assistance as directed by healthcare providers. Ensure a safe environment by following safety protocols and maintaining cleanliness in the living area. Respond promptly and effectively in emergency situations, including performing CPR if necessary. Support clients during meal preparation and feeding when needed. Maintain detailed records of care provided and any incidents or observations. Requirements Prior experience in caregiving or related roles is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided. CPR certification is required or must be obtained upon hiring. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect compassionately with clients. Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, including performing CPR if necessary. Patience, empathy, and a respectful attitude towards clients' needs and privacy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Flexibility to work various shifts based on client needs.
