Job Summary Join our dedicated team as a Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, personalized care to enhance residents' quality of life, promote independence, and ensure their safety and comfort. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your caregiving skills while making a positive impact in our community. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care strategies Administer medication following prescribed protocols and document accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to prevent injury during transfers Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary Engage residents in social activities, recreational programs, and group outings to promote mental well-being Experience Previous assisted living or long-term care experience is highly preferred Familiarity with dementia, Alzheimer's, and memory care techniques Experience working with individuals with developmental or cognitive disabilities Knowledge of safe patient lifting practices and manual handling procedures Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in medication administration is a plus Experience operating EMR systems for accurate documentation Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams in home or community care settings Join us as a Caregiver to bring compassion, energy, and professionalism into every interaction. $22.54 - $27.14 per hour
