Job Description
Job Summary Join our dedicated team as an Assisted Living Caregiver, where your compassionate support and hands-on care will make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors. In this vital role, you will assist residents with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment. Your energy and positive attitude will help promote a warm community atmosphere, empowering residents to thrive and enjoy their daily routines. Duties Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support to residents with diverse needs. Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as toileting, feeding, and medication reminders in accordance with care plans. Monitor residents' vital signs and health status, reporting any changes or concerns to Administrator and/or nursing staff promptly. Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care, utilizing specialized techniques to ensure safety and comfort. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to individual dietary requirements, maintaining a clean and organized environment. Engage residents in social activities and group programs to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Requirements Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred. Knowledge of Alzheimer's disease, dementia care, and memory care strategies. with completion of Alzheimer's 2-hour course. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required. Level II background check. TB test (PPD or Chest X-ray) Health statement (within 6 months)
