Neighborlove Home Care is seeking a dependable, compassionate caregiver to provide non-medical evening support for a husband and wife in the West Volusia area. This assignment is a good fit for someone who enjoys helping older adults maintain safe, comfortable, and meaningful routines at home. Schedule Evening shifts of approximately 2 - 3 hours Support is needed seven days per week Periodic daytime dates for transporting to/accompanying at appointments Approximately 14 - 21 hours per week if one caregiver covers the full schedule Applicants who can consistently cover several evenings—including weekends—are also encouraged to apply Anticipated shift time: 5:00 pm to 7 pm Responsibilities Provide friendly and attentive support Assist with simple meal preparation and evening household routines Perform light housekeeping related to the clients' needs Prepare and reset the home for the next morning/day Provide reminders and non-medical mobility or fall-prevention support Observe and report changes, concerns, or safety issues Complete accurate and timely shift documentation and a weekly update Communicate professionally with clients, family members, and the Neighborlove team Follow the established service plan and maintain client dignity, privacy, preferences, and autonomy This is a non-medical position. Duties are limited to services permitted within Neighborlove Home Care's scope of practice and clients service plan. Qualifications & Skills Previous caregiving, companion-care, senior-support, homemaking, or related experience desireable Dependable transportation and the ability to travel to West Volusia Consistent evening and weekend availability Compassionate, patient, observant, and dependable Strong character and integrity Able to work independently and communicate clearly Successful completion of all required background screening and employment requirements CPR and First Aid certification required Position Details Job type: Part-time, W-2 Staffing model: As-needed staffing pool with an initial West Volusia assignment

Pay:

$16 per hour

Initial Schedule:

The employee will initially be considered for the West Volusia evening assignment. Client schedules and service needs may change; therefore, specific assignments and weekly hours are not guaranteed. Additional assignments may be offered based on client needs, employee availabilty, qualifications, performance, geographic area, and appropriate compatibility.
