Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation Administer medication reminders and assist with basic health monitoring as directed by healthcare professionals Support clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments or errands Follow care plans meticulously, documenting observations and any changes in client condition for healthcare teams Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure consistent, high-quality care tailored to individual needs Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and reporting any hazards or concerns promptly Qualifications Prior experience in in-home caregiving or related healthcare roles is preferred; experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics is a plus Knowledge of medical-surgical care, post-acute care, outpatient services, or sub-acute care environments enhances your ability to provide comprehensive support Experience working in Level II trauma centers, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or Level I Trauma Centers is highly desirable for handling complex situations Familiarity with PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), OR (Operating Room) experience, or teaching hospital environments demonstrates adaptability in high-acuity settings Strong communication skills, empathy, patience, and the ability to follow detailed care instructions are essential for success in this role Certification in CPR or first aid is advantageous; ongoing training opportunities are available for professional development Join us as an In Home Caregiver and become a vital part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional care that transforms lives.
