Role Overview:

As an In-Home Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care Gold Coast, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to clients within their homes. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with clients to enhance their daily lives through companionship and assistance. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you'll have the flexibility to create a schedule that meets both client needs and your personal availability. We currently have opportunities in Martin, Palm Beach, and Broward County!

Key Responsibilities:

Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation to support emotional well-being. Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Prepare meals and support dietary needs according to client preferences. Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, comfortable home environment. Provide medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed medications. Assist with mobility and transfers to promote client safety and independence. Provide transportation for errands and appointments as needed. Help clients with daily activities and routines while maintaining a high standard of care.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Compassionate and dependable demeanor when interacting with clients. Strong communication skills to facilitate effective interactions. Ability to work independently and responsibly in a client's home. Reliable transportation to travel to client locations. Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client and caregiver availability.

Bonus If You:

Speak both English and Spanish to better serve our diverse client base. Have prior experience in a caregiving role or related field. Possess any relevant certifications in home health care, CNA or HHA.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position offers both Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities, with flexible scheduling available for day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.

Location:

This position is on-site in clients' homes, located in Palm Beach and Broward counties, Florida.
