Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide medication administration following prescribed protocols and ensure accurate documentation Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary plans and assist residents during mealtimes as needed Engage residents in meaningful activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and overall well-being Maintain cleanliness of the living environment through regular cleaning routines and organization Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care Qualifications Must be 21 years of age and have prior experience in assisted living, long-term care, or residential care homes is highly preferred Must have a Level II background check or be able to pass one. Tuberculosis (TB) test required from a physician with negative findings, along with an official statement from a physician on letterhead confirming you are free of communicable diseases Current HIV Training (must say HIV, not Bloodborne Pathogens) or a test will be provided for you to administer Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments Knowledge of self-administration of medication Follow all safety protocols, including HeartSaver first aid/CPR/AED certification required or obtainable upon hire Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving and client interaction Familiarity with behavior management techniques and resident engagement strategies Valid driver's license preferred for home & community care responsibilities Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to enriching lives through compassionate support.
