As a DSP (Direct Support Professional), you will provide essential support tailored to the unique needs of residents, fostering independence, safety, and well-being. Your energetic approach and commitment will help create a warm, respectful environment where clients feel valued and cared for every day. Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using manual handling techniques and patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts. Qualifications Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and first aid/CPR certification. Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care strategies, and working with individuals with neurodevelopmental or intellectual disabilities. Experience supporting residents with autism or developmental disabilities is a strong plus. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely while adhering to HIPAA guidelines and patient privacy standards. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork within a caregiving environment. Demonstrated reliability in maintaining care routines and documentation accurately. Compassionate attitude combined with a proactive approach to supporting seniors or individuals with disabilities. Join us in delivering exceptional care that enriches lives! We value energetic professionals who are eager to provide personalized support in a respectful and nurturing setting. If you're passionate about making a positive impact through caregiving — from assisting with ADLs to supporting complex health needs — this is the perfect opportunity for you!
